INTRODUCTION
TO CASA

VOLUNTEER TO
CHANGE A CHILD'S STORY™

Court-appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteers make a life-changing difference for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Each volunteer is appointed by a judge to advocate for a child’s best interest in court. Our volunteers help judges develop a fuller picture of each child’s life. Their advocacy enables judges to make the most well-informed decision for each child.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Introduction to CASA is a forum to sign up as well as to ask questions so you can make an informed decision about being a CASA. Even if you're not sure if this is what you would like to do, but are interested in learning more about CASA, please come. It's another way of spreading the word and work to help our kids.

LOCATION

This event will be taking place in the 1st floor conference room of the Polk County Courthouse in Dallas.  Please enter through the Jefferson Street side of the building. We'll have greeters there giving directions to the meeting room.
