We strive to give a voice to every child who is a ward of the court in Polk County due to abuse and neglect. We accomplish this through representation by a CASA volunteer who is dedicated to advocating for the child’s best interest in court with the ultimate goal of a safe and permanent home for every child.
The mission of CASA of Polk County, Inc. exists is to recruit, train, guide, and support volunteers appointed by Polk County judges to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in the judicial dependency system.
For every child to have a safe and permanent home, and that every child that is a ward of the court be represented by a CASA. Our current goal is to build our capacity so we can achieve our vision.
CASA of Polk County, Inc. strives to uphold in every action and interaction: compassion; commitment; integrity; inclusivity; justice; equality and respect for all.
There are children and youth in our community who need their voice to be heard. We can’t do it alone. Our partners make it possible for us to continue to recruit, train, and support CASAs for each child in our community.
